April 25th, 2003 ISTH 12-18 July, 2003 The 19th International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) will be held at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham, UK from 12th-18th July 2003. Congress president, Professor Ian Peake and his organising committee have assembled an outstanding scientific programme of plenary sessions featuring international experts, state-of-the-art lectures, meet-the-expert opportunities as well as scientific and industry sponsored symposia. The mission of ISTH is to promote and support research and to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas and information. Octapharma is also committed to supporting research. In accordance with this, Octapharma has sponsored a number of Young Investigator Awards. These awards will provide grants to medical trainees and young scientists nominated by the ISTH organisers.
