May 2nd, 2003 Octapharma Sweden: Running for Ten Years to Support Blood Donations Octapharma Sweden will be the major sponsor of The Blood Circulation, a national run that aims to increase blood donations, for the tenth year straight! This year, the run will take place in 8 cities in Sweden, and expects to attract almost 20 000 participants! This unique run for blood is organized in cooperation among several local blood centers and athletic sports clubs in Sweden, who created the event in order to recruit new donors and increase the blood supply. In Stockholm, where the run begins on June 11, a large number of the Swedish Octapharma employees will participate to manifest the importance of blood donation and to show Octapharma´s dedication to serving the community's needs for blood and blood related products. Everyone that completes the 5 or 10 km (running, jogging or walking) will receive a medal and a T-shirt.
