December 5th, 2003 Octapharma USA to Make First Congress Appearance  Octapharma USA which opened earlier this year will be introducing the company to the USA market for the first time as exhibitors at the American Society of Health System Pharmacists Midyear Meeting, December 7-11 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Octapharma will be at booth # 1753 where information about Octapharma as a leading worldwide manufacturer/marketer of plasma-derived therapeutic products can be found. The General Manager, David Hirsch will be on-site as well as Octapharma’s Regional Manager for North America, Tobias Marguerre; the US Sales Director, Pat Arzillo; and Ms. Collette Huts from Octapharma Benelux for further discussion about the company and our plans in the USA. The subsidiary expects to have Octagam, Octapharma´s leading liquid intravenous immunoglobulin, approved by the FDA and registered in early 2004. Octapharma also plans to launch a number of other important plasma derived products in the United States, and is currently preparing a solid registration portfolio for submission to the FDA.
