Through its acquisition of the plasma business of Biovitrum, Octapharma entered into a collaboration with the Iranian Blood Research & Fractionation Co. (IBRF). Projects include the technology transfer of certain purification technologies for human derived plasma products, which is now progressing rapidly under the leadership of Mr. Raimond Schütz. To this end, an Octapharma office has recently been opened within the IBRF premises.
