Octapharma Slovakia joined the industry exhibition at the 17th Annual Assembly of the European Haemophilia Consortium, held from 25th-27th June at the Hotel Danube in Bratislava, capital of the Slovak Republic.

The event was organised by the Slovak Haemophilia Society, a member of the 43-member umbrella organization that conprises the European Haemophilia Consortium. This year, the consortium chose Bratislava as the venue, in order to promote easy geographical access for central European countries, thus enhancing their participation at the meeting and in the development of EHC activities and goals. The congress consisted of three days of lectures, workshops and round table discussions.

Mission of the European Haemophilia Consortium:
"To improve Quality of Life of People with Haemophilia"

Visitors to the Octapharma booth were greeted by staff from several European offices as well as the Chief Operating Officer for Octapharma, Nicholas Jacobson. Delegates from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Russia, Italy, Moldova, Norway, and Serbia, among other countries, engaged in lively discussions about the status of haemophilia care in Europe and the production and characteristics of our products, Octanate and Octanine F. Many participants also signed up to receive The International Monitor on Hemophilia, a journal sponsored by Octapharma.

Octapharma thanks the EHC and the Slovak Haemophilia Society for a well-organised and successful congress.
