Octapharma takes Pole Position at the upcoming ESID meeting with the launch of Gammanorm®
Gammanorm, Octapharma’s immunoglobulin for subcutaneous and intramuscular infusion, will make it’s first major appearance at a European medical meeting at the upcoming European Society of Immunodeficiencies (ESID) congress from October 21-24 in Versailles, France, following the recent regulatory approval for the product in 13 European countries.
The ESID congress is a joint meeting including the European Society for Immunology (ESID) together with the the International Patient Organisation of Primary Immunodeficiencies (IPOPI) and the International Nursing Group for Immunodeficiencies (INGID) and provides an excellent opportunity for researchers and clinicians to get together and discuss developments in understanding and treating PID. Octapharma is a partner in the sponsorship of the congress.
For the first time, during ESID, Gammanorm will be presented alongside Octagam®, Octapharma’s intravenous immunoglobulin. The two products provide Primary Immune Deficiency (PID) treaters with a choice of IgG administration depending on specific patient needs or preferences. This choice moves Octapharma into Pole Position for the treatment of PID.
Further to this, Octapharma is actively involved in contributing to research in PID and will be included on several posters and an oral presentation during the congress. Please visit the Octapharma booth to learn more about our company, Gammanorm, Octagam, and the following scientific presentations:
