WFH story continued....Octapharma’s Run For Life raises over $8,000
As reported in the News earlier this year, a spirited team of Octapharma staff ran the
Vienna
marathon in support of the WFH. As well as completing the grueling 42 km (26 miles), the runners also pursued sponsorship by family, friends and colleagues, and in the end, raised an impressive total of over $4,000.
Inspired by this employee initiative, Octapharma Chairman, Mr Wolfgang Marguerre agreed that the Company would match the amount raised. Here, he proudly presents a cheque for $4,030 to WFH Medical Director Paul Giogrande during the recent congress in
Bangkok
.
Accepting the cheque, Dr Giogrande thanked Octapharma and said that the money would be used to help benefit the lives of people with haemophilia around the world and he looked forward to further projects with Octapharma.
