Octapharma Stimulates Brains at the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS) Congress in Athens Greece, September 17-20.
The 9th Congress of the European Federation of Neurological Societies - EFNS, held in Athens, Greece, September 17-20, 2005 received over 4400 delegates from 92 countries. Octapharma participated in the exhibition with a 45 sqm booth.

Octapharma staff welcomed the delegates to the booth for conversation, literature, refreshments, and some fun. Delegates were offered product information about Octagam, including interim results of our prospective 10-year observational study covering over 90,000 infusions of Octagam in over 6,000 patients, a publication of a clinical study demonstrating efficacy and tolerability of Octagam in PID patients, a new publication about the elimination of SARS-coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and the safety of a solvent/detergent (S/D) treated immunoglobulin preparations, a brochure about the role of IVIG in neurological conditions, in particular, in Guillian Barré Syndrome.
Delegates were invited to play the Octagam Challenge, a quiz that offered to stimulate the brains of neurologists in-between sessions. Over 500 delegates participated in the quiz on the first day. A draw at the end of each day resulted in 30 winners per day! Winners of the draw selected either an Octapharma USB stick or an Octagam computer mouse as their prize.
Octapharma thanks the European Federation of Neurological Societies and the Kenes Organization for the excellent organization of the congress.
