Octapharma to Participate in the Upcoming ESID Congress in Budapest from October 4 7, 2006
The forthcoming ESID in Budapest is a joint meeting of the European Society of Immunodeficiency (ESID), International Patient Organisation for Immunodeficiency (IPOPI) and the International Nursing Group for Immunodeficiency (INGID).
Some time ago an East-European physician education program was launched under the name of the “J Project”. The aim of the J Project is to increase professional and social awareness of primary immunodeficiency diseases in 10 East-European countries with a population exceeding 150 million.
This project and the congress provide a good platform for researchers and clinicians to get together and discuss the developments and understanding of treating PID. Octapharma is a partner in sponsoring the ESID/IPOPI/INGID congress held in Budapest .
Octapharma will participate at the exhibition with a 45sqm booth in the Great Hall, Diamond Sector (Booth No. 1). Delegates attending the congress are invited to visit us in the exhibition for refreshments. One of the attractions on offer will be the chance to take part in an exciting quiz on our two products, Octagam and Gammanorm, with the opportunity of winning grand prizes. Our two products provide PID treaters with a choice of IgG administration depending on specific patients needs or preferences. An instructional video for subcutaneous Ig home treatment will be on display and distributed to delegates from the booth.
Further to this, Octapharma is actively involved in researching PID and some of the results will be included in two posters during the congress. Please visit our booth to learn more about our company, our products and the following scientific presentations:
