Octapharma Canada has recently launched its first products on the market and is currently seeking to recruit a top-level sales professional to develop and increase sales in Canada, with a focus on Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec.
Job Description
As an Octapharma Territory Business Manager (TBM), you will be responsible for developing the Canadian market which includes creating marketing materials, managing sales growth and leading related business activities. An important part of your role will be to develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and responsibility including creating your own business plans to meet and exceed the defined strategic objectives of your territory and the Octapharma Canada organization as a whole. The majority of your time will be spent in the field, visiting health care professionals across Canada.
Requirements
Octapharma is seeking a self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic, competitive person, with strong verbal and written communication skills, to join our young and dynamic team. You should be entrepreneurial, self-sufficient, and embrace challenges with confidence. You should be able to manage and prioritize your own activities and at the same time be an active and helpful member of the team. We are looking for someone with a “can-do”, flexible attitude who is willing to chip in where needed.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in science and/or commerce and a minimum of five years field sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices or biologics industry. As the plasma derivates industry is highly scientific and technical, a strong aptitude for science and previous education and/or experience within the field of plasma derivatives, pharmacology, microbiology or immunology is a definite asset. Proficiency in French is welcome. Naturally, you must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes at short notice. Overnight stays away from home will be required on a regular basis (80% of the week).
