Octapharma AG - Project Manager Technology Transfer – Michael Weiser

I work in the Technology Transfer Department in Vienna where one of the biggest advantages is the close contact with almost every department in the company.

For many projects I work with members of the Research Department to transfer a manufacturing process from research to routine production.

After a local implementation I manage the transfer and harmonisation of the manufacturing techniques between sites. I am also responsible for the issuing of submission documents to gain health authority licences.

When I joined Octapharma in 2002, the Technology Transfer Department consisted of three people, today we are a team of eight.
