Biography Nicholas Jacobson

Dr. Nicholas Jacobson looks back at a more than 34 year long career in the pharmaceutical industry after graduating in organic chemistry and theoretical physics.


Starting with Sandoz AG in marketing he then spent 20 years with

Immuno AG/Baxter, where he held several positions in production management up to being Vice President Manufacturing Europe.

 

Dr. Jacobson joined Octapharma in September 2000 as COO.

 

His expertise in plasma fractionation and especially in the related regulatory environment were a valuable contribution in the making of Octapharma a truly global player.

 

Dr. Jacobson is representing Octapharma on a national as well as international level, and is an appointed member of the advisory "Blood Commission" at the Austrian Health Ministry.
