View Biography Reinhard Rettinghaus

 

Reinhard Rettinghaus began working for Octapharma in 1990 as Business Manager Octaplas. Since 1993 he has served as General Manager for Octapharma Germany as well as Octapharma Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. In 2000, he was appointed Member of the Octapharma Board.

 

Since September 2006, Mr. Rettinghaus has also been General Manager of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Humanplasma mbH (“DGH”), a 100 % subsidiary of Octapharma AG, with 9 plasmapheresis centres in Germany.

 

Mr. Rettinghaus started his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1976 at Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the world's most renowned pharmaceutical companies. From 1978 he worked for American company Syntex (since taken over by Roche Group) as well as for the Danish enterprise Novo, where he held various management functions in sales and marketing in both companies.
