Corporate Trainee Program

For the ambitious growth goals of Octapharma, we must ensure a strong pipeline of talented employees, capable of taking on responsibility. This program is intended for recent university graduates with one to two years of work experience who have an interest in the pharmaceutical industry and in improving patients’ lives.


Trainees gain "on-the-job" experience in various functions, including:

  • Finance

  • Sales & Marketing

Octapharma Corporate Trainee Program


  • Recent university graduates in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, engineering, management and many other areas of study
  • Maximum two years of work experience (excl. internships) 
  • Aspiring attitude and excellent communication skills 
  • Fluency in English (additional languages a plus) 
  • Flexible team player
  • Willing to move internationally for work assignments

Management Development Centers

Octapharma offers Development Centers which are a method that provide our managers with valuable development feedback. In an open and transparent atmosphere, they  experience business simulations that are based on the Octapharma competencies and values. They receive constructive and comprehensive feedback that will help to create an individual development plan which will further their career.


Career path for project managers

Octapharma has defined career paths for project managers to provide a framework for achieving individual and team goals. The purpose is to advance our business objectives in support of our vision to provide new health solutions that improve and extend lives.


With a clear set of competencies, experiences, tools and trainings we provide transparency and fairness for future development of our project managers. The path distinguishes three levels:

-       Level 1 (Junior Project Manager )

-       Level 2 (Project Manager)

-       Level 3 (Senior Project Manager)
