Diseases & Therapies

We develop and manufacture medicines for patients in three therapeutic areas: haematology, immunotherapy and critical care.

Behind every therapy is a life

At Octapharma, patients guide everything we do: from how we work to the therapies we develop. By focusing on individual needs, we develop products that matter and help make people’s lives better.

Haematology

When the blood’s natural clotting process doesn’t work as it should, even everyday situations can become challenging. Our therapies help restore clotting and control bleeding, supporting people living with haemophilia A, haemophilia B and von Willebrand disease.

Critical Care

When serious illness, trauma or complications place vital organs at risk, timely and effective treatment is essential. Our therapies help support haemostasis and blood volume, contributing to stabilisation and recovery when it matters most.

Plasma is the foundation

Many of our life-saving therapies are made from human plasma, with 88% of our plasma coming from company-owned donation centres. We rely on our plasma donors to ensure we can continue producing life-saving medications for patients worldwide.
