Introduction

This symposium is taking place at the 12th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) in Geneva, Switzerland, from June 27 to 30, 2026.

During this session, a panel of experts will explore the impact of immunomodulation in the management of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) and dermatomyositis (DM). The faculty will review current evidence on immune-mediated disease mechanisms and the role of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) across neurological and rheumatological conditions, with particular emphasis on its clinical relevance in CIDP and DM.
