Strengthening Care in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL):

Strategies for Infection Prevention and Immune Support

Friday, June 12, 2026 | 10:00 - 11:30
Stockholmsmässan Convention Center, Stockholm, Sweden

Summary of the session

Patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) face a substantial risk of infections driven both by disease-related immune dysfunction and by immuno-suppressive therapies. As treatment strategies evolve, balancing disease control with infection prevention is becoming a critical component of comprehensive CLL care.

This session aims to deepen understanding of infection risk in CLL, with a focus on how disease-related immune dysfunction and immunosuppressive therapies contribute to SID. Participants will explore practical strategies for infection prevention, in particular immunoglobulin replacement therapy, supported by current clinical evidence and expert recommendations.
